Specific Casting Call

We are currently looking for actors for the following roles:

YOU MUST BE OVER 16 (ie 17+) to audition for these roles. 

YOU MUST BE LONDON BASED or able to be London based for a few days

YOU MUST BE available for filming w/c 23 February 2026

CHARACTER 1 MALE: 'JOE' 16

We’re looking for someone to play a 16 year old who is naturally awkward, soft-natured, and insecure in a funny way. He’s the blundering straight-man opposite to his monster's chaos: a chronic people-pleaser who avoids confrontation, and ends up staying immature and stuck.

His comedy comes from angst, awkward deflections, and social panic as he attempts (and fails) to keep things normal.

CHARACTER 2  FEMALE 'JESS' 16​

MUST BE OVER 16  Jess likes a boy. She discovers in this taster that he still has his monster which is slightly bemusing maybe a bit concerning. But more so when she finds out what the monster is like....mostly selfish and rude.

Comfortable in her own skin. she's not overly pushy but is quietly confident in herself. Just maybe not as sure about an overgrown monster who really should have moved on by now. Perfect 'girl next door' but she will show a naughtier side as time goes on and she goes into combat with the monster for his boy's attention.
